Sales Tax Exemption Certificate (STEC)

In addition to your online application, we require the submission of your Sales Tax Exemption Certificate before we begin the account approval process. To meet our sales tax compliance obligations, we must collect the documentation necessary to support (substantiate) the purchases that your business makes for resale, otherwise we will need to impose sales tax on the purchases your business makes. Please submit the specific tax exemption document(s) for each applicable state through our Exemption Certificate Portal.

Tax-Exempt Organizations

If you are an organization that is tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, you may be eligible to avoid sales taxes on purchases, depending on applicable state law, by providing us with a valid tax exemption certificate for the state(s) where you are located.
